The Federal Buildings Personnel Training Act was signed into law on December 14, 2010. The law requires federal building personnel – including those responsible for building management, operation, energy management, safety, and performance – to demonstrate core competencies, as laid out by the General Services Administration (GSA). National Electrical Manufacturers Association
NEMA is the association of electrical equipment manufacturers, founded in 1926 and headquartered in Arlington, Virginia. Its member companies manufacture a diverse set of products including power transmission and distribution equipment, lighting systems, factory automation and control systems, and medical diagnostic imaging systems.

Electrical Safety Foundation International
The Electrical Safety Foundation International (ESFI) is a 501(c) (3) organization dedicated exclusively to promoting electrical safety in the home, school, and workplace. ESFI proudly sponsors National Electrical Safety Month each May, and engages in public education campaigns throughout the year to prevent electrical fires, injuries, and fatalities.
